C-046 Is super thick (1.5micron) 24K Gold plating directly on polished surface of receptacle and blade. Polishing process again (twice) on the 24K Gold plated surface, and then applied final Paradium plating (0.3micron). Combination and thicknesses of plating represents the final sound character, while the polishing process also has an influence on the sound.
